I bought a copy of Knitware several years ago. It is on a very old computer which I am afraid will not last much longer. Is there anywhere to download this software again?

The only explanation I have found is listed on the developer's website. The error is called "BLOB has been modified" and the explanation is below (as seen on the website):
Somehow you managed to modify your Pattern Notes, Custom Size Notes or Pattern Stitch Notes, but not save it properly (possibly caused by something like an inadvertent system shutdown). As a result, the pattern data file is inaccessible. The best prevention of this problem is to always ensure that you have exited the Knitware program properly before shutting down your system. In addition, you can always recover from this problem if you have routinely backed up your data files.
This program does not seem to automatically install. How do I install it using Windows 10?

It's not possible to install this application on Windows 10, because it's not compatible with this particular operating system. I have downloaded the only version available via Software Informer and tried to install it. I was greeted with a message that's displayed when an application is not compatible with the operating system it's launched in.
I have also tried compatibility mode, but it didn't work either. The official website is also discontinued.
